Our last TUG meeting at the Tempe location (Country Harvest Buffet) spent much time talking about future activism and how to have fun doing it. Placing signs in embarrassing places, taking the forest service to task, white shoe polish signs on your car windows, and the McCain Road Rallies.

This Saturday we will be up in New River from 9am until about, heck, wheever.

Then we drive up to Prescott that same day and have a Rally at the Prescott Courthouse park (Mayor Sam Steiger appears to be supportive). We will be at the rally point on or before 5pm.

We are still trying to get a rally up in Flagstaff for the next day (Sunday), or failing that, some other weekend if we need more time.

Now, this Mitosis thing (cell division)

Heck, maybe it's miosis (taking only half of the DNA).

We have decided to split up TUG into TUGEastValley and TUGWestValley.

The TUGWestValley will be doing its thing at 59th AVENUE and Bell in Glendale. We have reserved the meeting room for every THIRD Tuesday of the month until and including December. This all starts in August.

I am not privvy to what the EastValley folks will be scheduling, but it looks like Dennis (of this list) and Carma, of the newly launched Armed Females of America at https://www.keepandbeararms.com/afa/

Think of it as Second Amendment Sisters with an attitude. Whereas SAS shies away from arguments of freedom in favor of simple self defense, AFA sees RKBA-insured liberty as its very reason for existance. To emphasize the point, AFA has a rather purdy AK47 prominently displayed on the index page.

To contact Carma and Dennis about the when, wheres, and why-fors, e-mail them at
