We need to register 1000 new Libertarian voters by Oct 1, 2001
or the State of Arizona is going to kick the Libertarian
party off the ballet.  

On Sat Aug 11 from 7am to 4pm the Libertarian party is
having an event at the Salt River to get people registered
as Libertarian voters. (thats 4 Saterdays from today)

If you can help for a couple of hours give me a email or call
to volunteer - snail@aztec.asu.edu (602)522-0976.

We will place 8 by 4 foot signs with Libertarian slogans
along the Salt River around 7am for people floating down
the river to see. slogans will be like

      End the drug war
      The draft is slavery
      Taxes are theft
      Register Libertarian
      Legalize freedom vote Libertarian
      Legalize marijuana
      Victimless crimes are victimless - legalize them

On Sat Aug 11 from 8am to 4pm we will have a table at two the 
beaches where the tubing ends on the Salt River. The tables 
will be stocked with voter register ion forms and Libertarian 
propaganda so we can register new Libertarians as they end 
their tubing trip.

We are asking for people to volunteer to staff the two booths in
2 hours shifts of

         8am-10am
        10am-12pm
        12pm-2pm
         2pm-4pm

We are also asking for a few people to volunteer to hang up signs
along the salt river at the ungodly hour of 7am that morning.

If you need a ride to the river, or can give other people a ride
to the river on that day please let me know.

We are asking for volunteers on Sat of Aug 4 (the week before the
river even) to paint the signs. The painting will take place 
from 12pm to 4:00 in a house owned by John Wilde at

            4208 West State Ave
            Phoenix, Az
            (its 3 streets North of Glendale Avenue on 43rd Avenue)
