OK, now I've been to 2 of them. There have been 4 topics addressed:

July: 1. Alt Fuel Scam 2. Dan Starr talking about Jon Hoffman (wanting money)

August: 3. Libertarian Victory Fund (sales pitch looking for money) 4. Jon Hoffman update (I need more money)

It would seem that the "outreach is trying reach into our pockets and take our money.

I brought a guest with me this evening, he was not a libertarian and just was curious about what goes on. Now, he is not a typical guest since he has a degree in philosophy, however he does not think any more of libertarians since going to the outreach.

I believe that there can be a such meeting where we could bring our friends to where they could learn about libertarianism. (Not the idea in the park). My idea is to have speakers on topics ratherthan politics. Like I could talk about non-tax ways of making money. Or Jason could talk about taxes. Or Phil could talk about guns. The possibilities are exciting and endless.

There would have to be rules to keep out bordom. Like: 1. Shorter time limits rigidly enforced 2. One question per person, No more Ingrids saying "I have 3 questions" 3. No animal heads on the walls, lets get the vegans to come

Anyway I understand this is a lofty idea, which I am more than happy to head. So, if you want to get some real outreach where people can learn more about libertarianism, cause lets face it there are even some members who could learn some stuff, then give me a call. 8869372
