As long as the LP continues the current practice of not taking 
matching funds, it won't be a problem. It's up to the membership to 
demand that.

I suspect that the LP is too big and organized at this point for a 
hostile takeover a la Buchanan, in which enemy operatives join the 
party and take over the local organizations. That is however no 
guarantee that the power structure of the LP won't sell us out. If 
such a thing happened though, I suspect that you would see 50 
Arizonas picking a different candidate than the Anointed One.
