Just got back from grabbing a bite to eat. Saw two semis pulling into a big truck station at Butler and I-40 (place called Little America). They were both carrying what looked just like Tomahawk missiles (minus the "wings"). 20 feet long, between 15-20" in diameter. They were stacked 4 or 5 high and 4 or 5 wide inside of wooden crates that surrounded them but with plenty of space between them. Front to back there were two rows, suggesting that each semi had 36 to 50 of them on board. WHY they didn't bother tarping their load, I do not know and cannot even imagine.
Last month, one of the many trains that passed through heading WEST was almost entirely full of heavy duty, unmarked military equipment. Tanks, trucks with red crosses on them, and several "mobile barracks units". (That is what those items said on their side.) Sophisticated radio command center-looking things that took up a whole boxcar by themselves. Never seen anything quite as new and sophisticated looking like those radio command center units other than in movies. ALL unmarked as belonging to any specific outfit (Army, Marines, UN, whatever). And there were BALES of that mean looking barbed wire that ain't about keeping cows in place -- whole boxcars full of them. Major earth-moving equipment was on the train, as well. Heavy stuff. And there were also some serious missile launchers on board of some kind. The "barrels" were in sections, and the sections were stacked neatly together. The "receiver" (I don't know missile-speak, so I'm using gun terms) was in the next car. And I was really wondering what was in the few cars on that train that were enclosed and opaque.
I didn't say anything about the trainload when it happened, because I'm weary of being called "paranoid". But after seeing trucks loaded with Tomahawk missiles a mile from where I sleep, I figured what the hell. Think what you want. I found the timing of these two shipments and the manner in which they were shipped so openly to be a tad conspicuous. And I am wondering what the government knows that we don't.
