Hello Friends,

I would like to let you know I will not be attending the AI Group 489 monthly meetings for an indefinite period of time. I will, however, continue working from home on Amnesty Int'l issues as I have been for 14 years. Please feel free to continue meeting at the Gold Bar Coffee Shop on the 4th Thursday of each month. I do want to remind you all to check the Amnesty website for the Summer Postcard Actions and also please check the FAST section for new actions. Also, the Statewide meeting is tentatively scheduled for September 1st at ASU. As I hear more, I will update you on the where and when of the meeting. If I am in town, I will be attending. Erin O'Brien (forgive me Erin if I spelled your name incorrectly) has been trained on the Mandate and she would like to schedule a training for Group 489. Please get with me so I can coordinate a date for training, or we can wait until the Statewide meeting and have it then. Please feel free to contact me anytime, either via e/m or telephone. As I mentioned before, I will be actively involved with A.I. as I always have been. Peace,

Elizabeth
