A: One of the first things you should do is check your power
supply. The Intel SE440BX motherboard requires at least 200 watt
power supply, and if you are running with multiple PCI cards you
will probably need to look at a power supply which is 235 watts
or higher. If you are still having problems check out the
motherboard page on support.intel.com.

A: On standard Intel-manufactured motherboard products (the Intel 430FX/TX or 440 LX/BX PCIset) using the Phoenix BIOS, you can configure your BIOS to do one of three options after a power failure:
- Stay Off
In all cases the computer will power up for 300 mS when AC power
is restored, reads the current setup boot values and goes to the
appropriate state (on or off).

The Intel Owner's Club Team
- Return to the Last State (Restores the previous power state
before AC power was lost -- either on or off.)
- Power On (System will always power on.)
To set the option you want, go to the BIOS setup program - by
