Kimi Raikkonen nurses his Mclaren to victory this time!

After a mechanical failure on the final lap costs Raikkonen victory at the Nurburgring, Raikkonen survives another mechanical problem this time, holding off Ferrari's Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello as Ferrari seems poised to challenge again.

Mechanical failures and a tactical error shape the final outcome. A pitting error drops Mclaren's Juan Pablo Montoya from 2nd place. Giancarlo Fisichella dominates early until his Renault loses hydraulic power. Fernando Alonso drops out after brushing the wall with his Renault.

Raikkonen cuts Alonso's championship lead to 22 points. Meanwhile, ugh, Ferrari is 2 points out of third place, and, double ugh, Michael Schumacher is now back in the race, 35 points behind.
