Sandy Koufax, Dodgers have the final answer, beating the Twins 2-0 to capture the World Championship.

Koufax pitches a complete game, 3-hitter as Los Angeles breaks through with the only win by a visiting team in the series. Minnesota had forced Game 7, winning at home.

The Dodgers get the only run they need when Lou Johnson leads off the 4th with a HR to left. Los Angeles tacks on another run off starter Jim Kaat, as Ron Fairly follows Johnson with a double to right and then scoes on Wes Parker's single.
