Lance Berkman doubles home 2 runs, and delivers a solo homer helping Houston crawl out of an early deficit, and then Carlos Beltran homers in his 5th straight game snapping a 5-5 tie in the 7th.

St. Louis scores 3 in the first as Albert Pujols homers, and builds up leads of 3-0, 4-1 and 5-3. But Berkman's solo shot in the 6th ignites a rally to tie the game. Then Beltran pulls a pitch from Julian Tavarez into the rightfield seats to put the Astros ahead in the 7th.

Beltran goes 2-for-3 and scores 3 times, and Berkman is 2-for-2 with 2 walks. Brad Lidge pitches a pair of hitless innings to earn the save.
