Reyes limits the Tigers to 4 hits and 2 runs over 8 innings. Reyes' bid for a complete game ends when Craig Monroe hammers a leadoff homer in the bottom of the 9th.

But between Carlos Guillen's RBI-double in the bottom of the 1st that scores Monroe, and Monroe's HR in the 9th... it's all Reyes and all St. Louis.

Scott Rolen's solo shot off Justin Verlander in the 2nd knots the game, then Albert Pujols follows Chris Duncan's RBI-double, with a 2-run HR in the 3rd for a 4-1 lead.
