Rangers beat the Cubs 7-3 as Sammy Sosa clubs a milestone blast.

Sosa drives his 600th career HR into the Texas bullpen, becoming the 5th player in MLB history to reach that mark. His shot, in the 5th inning, off Jason Marquis, also gives him 1,628 career RBI, tying him for 24th all-time with Harold Baines, who ironically is the player the Rangers originally traded Sosa for in 1989.

Sosa had hit 545 of his homers as a Chicago Cub, wearing the same #21 that Marquis wears. It also comes 1 day shy of the 18th anniversary of his 1st career homer, off Roger Clemens at Fenway Park.
