Joe Crede's double off the fence scores Justin Morneau from 1st base to break the tie. Crede had given Minnesota a 2-1 lead when he doubled in the 5th and then scored on Mike Redmond's RBI single.

Toronto ties it when Vernon Wells singles home Alex Rios in the 8th. Morneau goes 3-for-5 for the Twins. Glen Perkins and Ricky Romero both go 8 innings, allowing just 2 runs.
