Bart Hendricks does it all for the Broncos as they beat the Miners 38-23 on the blue turf.

Hendricks throws for 1 TD, runs for 2 TDs, and catches another as Boise State wins the 2nd consecutive bowl it plays on its home field. Hendricks helps the Broncos open a 10-0 lead with a 28-yard TD pass to Jay Swillie in the 1st quarter.

UTEP evens the score, but Hendricks responds with TD runs of 12 and 77 yards, the later coming early in the 3rd quarter, and following a FG by the Miners, Brock Forsey breaks free for a 41-yard TD run and 31-13 lead. UTEP closes to within a score, but Hendricks then catches a 11-yard TD pass from Andre Banks to clinch the victory.

Hendricks finishes 17-of-29 for 247 yards, while running for 57 yards. Chris Porter leads the Miners, rushing for 134 yards.
