B.J. Symons goes 41-of-53 for 497 yards and 4 TDs as Texas Tech heats up after a stumbled start. Symons' 4-yard TD pass to Mickey Peters gets the Red Raiders on the board in the 2nd quarter, after the 2 teams combine for a missed FG, 2 turnovers after 1st-and-goal and a turnover on downs. After Navy misses a FG, Symons adds a 17-yard TD pass Nehemiah Glover for a 14-0 halftime lead.

Craig Candeto pulls Navy back into the contest with a 2-yard TD run to start the 2nd half, but Taurean Henderson scores on a 4-yard TD run and Keith Toogood adds a FG for a 24-7 lead. Symons adds 2 more TD passes in the 4th quarter as Texas Tech puts away the Middies.
