LSU holds off Ole Miss' rally in the 4th quarter, denying the Rebels a shot at the SEC West title. Matt Mauck suffers 3 INTs, including 1 returned 6 yards for a TD by Travis Johnson in the 1st quarter. However, Mauck struggles on, connecting for a pair of TD passes helping the Tigers open a 17-7 lead.

Mauch hits Michael Clayton on a 9-yard TD giving LSU the lead 10-7 in the 2nd quarter, then hooks up with Devery Henderson on a 53-yard TD early in the 4th quarter. Eli Manning cuts the lead to 17-14 with a 10-yard TD pass to Brandon Jacobs, but Ole Miss can't overcome LSU's ball control.
