Utah wins its 9th straight in easy fashion after scoring 21 points in each of the 1st 2 quarters, and opening a 56-10 lead by the end of the 3rd quarter. Alex Smith throws for 291 yards and 4 TDs, while running for 55 yards. Paris Warren catches 10 for 98 yards and 3 TDs.

The Utes put away Colorado State early, as Smith hits Warren for a 5-yard TD on the opening drive, and then Morgan Scalley returns a fumble 88 yards for a TD less than 2 minutes later. Smith and Warren connect once more, for a 6-yard TD and 21-3 lead, before the end of the 1st quarter.
