The Mean Green clinches its 4th straight Sun Belt title with a 51-29 win over the Vandals, as Jamario Thomas rushes for his 5th straight 200+ yard game.

Thomas, a freshman, runs for 291 yards and 4 TDs. Thomas sends Idaho reeling, hitting the Vandals with a 70-yard TD run on the 3rd play of the game, and then adding a 31-yard TD less than halfway through the 1st quarter.

Idaho pulls to within 8 points on 3 occassions, but each time North Texas provides an answer. Scott Hall supplements Thomas with a pair of TD passes, while Idaho's Michael Harrington throws for 328 yards and 2 TDs, but also suffers 3 INTs.
