Huskies outlast the Scarlet Knights 41-35 to seal their first bowl trip.

After UConn appears to seal its fate with Dan Orlovsky's 3-yard TD pass to Dan Murray for a 41-28 lead w/ 2:28 left in the game, Willie Foster returns the ensuing kickoff 80 yards for a TD. The Huskies then have to recover the onside kick to clinch the win.

Cornell Brockington runs for 2 TDs, and catches another from Orlovsky in the 1st half. However, Rutgers rallies to tie it 21-21. Orlovsky throws for 2 more TD passes in the 2nd half rebuilding UConn's lead. Orlovsky goes 19-of-30 for 264 yards with 3 TDs and 2 INTs. Murray catches 6 for 135 yards and 2 TDs.

The Scarlet Knights counter with Tres Moses, who catches 7 for 168 yards and 2 TDs, including an 87-yard TD pass from Terrence Shawell in the 2nd quarter.
