Russell scores on a pair of 1-yard runs in the 1st half, helping the Gopher to a 21-3 lead. Bryan Cupito goes 8-of-13 for just 123 yards, but throws 2 TD passes, including a 20-yarder to Ernest Wheelwright in the 3rd quarter that buries the Spartans 28-3.
