South Carolina manages just 187 yards total offense, but squeezes out a pair of TDs. Blake Mitchell hits Sidney Rice for a 7-yard TD pass. The TD came on a short-field after the Gamecocks stop Arkansas on 4th down at its own 29. Mitchell then hits Kenny McKinley on a 42-yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter, completing a 1-play scoring drive.

Mitchell finishes 12-of-25 for 142 yards. Arkansas's Darren McFadden runs for 187 yards, matching South Carolina's entire offensive output. However, with a true freshman, Casey Dick, making his first start, the Razorbacks struggle to complete drives.
