#2 Horns finally win a national title type game under Mack Brown, beating the #4 Buckeyes in the Horseshoe, 25-22.

Down 22-16, Vince Young rallies Texas, bringing the Longhorns down the field, capping it with a 24-yard TD pass to Limas Sweed with 2:37 remaining. After Texas fails to put the game away on a 4th down try from the 1, Larry Dibbles sacks Troy Smith for a safety to seal the victory.

Vince Young goes 18-of-29 for 270 yards and 2 TDs, but also is intercepted twice. He runs for 76 yards as Selmon Young and Jamaal Charles are shut down in the running game. Billy Pittman has 5 catches for 130 yards and 1 TD.

Neither Ohio State QB, Smith or Justin Zwick, can move the offense consistently and the running game stalls. However, the Buckeyes help convert 3 Texas turnovers into field position and points.
