#22 Gophers commit a classic choke job, losing to the #23 Badgers 38-34 in the final minute.

Minnesota leads by 10 w/ 3:27 to play after Gary Russell's 1-yard TD run. But Wisconsin goes 71 yards in just over a minute, scoring on John Stocco's 21-yard TD pass to Brandon Williams.

The Gophers then botch the handling of an onside kick attempt, and start out at their own 11 rather than near mid-field. Unable to pick up a first down, Minnesota lines up to punt but punter Justin Kucek drops the snap, bobbles it and then kicks the ball right into a Badger, and Wisconsin's Ben Strickland covers it in the end zone for the winning score w/ :30 left.

Without its starting QB, Minnesota is able to roll up 411 yards rushing with no passing threat. Laurence Maroney has 258 yards and 1 TD, Russell adds 139 yards and 2 TD runs.

Williams has 7 catches for 121 yards and 1 TD for Wisconsin, Brian Calhoun runs for 110 yards and 3 TDs.
