Air Force scores 36 points in the 2nd quarter while Army looks like a bumbling Pee-Wee team, turning the ball over 6 times and gives up a safety when a return man is tackled in the end zone on a kickoff. Army's early 1st quarter drive results in a Air Force lead when Adam Zanotti scoops up Carson Williams' fumble and returns it 98 yards for a TD.

After Chad Hall's 19-yard TD run puts the Falcons up 14-0 following a fumble, Garrett Rybak picks Williams and sets up Ryan Williams' 1-yard TD run 2 plays later. Army botches the kickoff return a second consecutive time, this one resulting in a safety and 23-0 deficit. Army turns it over 2 more times in the quarter, both resulting in TDs and a 43-0 halftime deficit.
