Trailing 14-7 in the middle of the 2nd quarter, Texas Tech erupts scoring 5 TDs and taking a 42-14 lead by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Graham Harrell throws for 483 yards and 4 TDs, connecting with Joel Filani for 3 TDs during the scoring outburst.

The Red Raiders tie it on Shannon Woods' 34-yard TD run, then Harrell hits Filani for TD passes of 4 and 32 yards before halftime, and then they combine on a 76-yard TD pass early in the 3rd quarter. Filani finishes with 8 catches for 212 yards.
