Toledo opens a 21-0 lead and then keeps Bowling Green away. Jalen Parmele runs for 124 yards and gives the Rockets a 7-0 lead with a 7-yard TD run late in the 1st quarter. Aaron Opelt scores on a 1-yard run, the 1st of his 2 TDs, and then Barry Church returns an INT of Tyler Sheehan 31 yards for a TD and 21-0 lead.

Anthony Turner tries rallying the Falcons, throwing for 213 yards and 3 TDs. But after Turner gets Bowling Green on the board late in the 1st half with a 6-yard TD pass to Corey Partridge, Toledo answers early in the 3rd quarter with Opelt's 2nd TD run. Partridge catches 14 passes for 161 yards for the Falcons.
