#21 Cougars take it to the limit before beating the Utes 33-31, their first win over their rival in 5 years.

John Beck's 11-yard TD pass to Jonny Harline on the final play caps a wild finish and caps an unbeaten Mountain West campaign for BYU. Utah erased a 14-0 deficit by scoring 24 straight in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. However, Beck hits Harline with a 4-yard TD early in the 4th stemming the run.

Beck then tosses a 2-yard TD pass to Daniel Coats capping a 13-play, 90-yard drive, and lifting the Cougars into the lead 27-24 w/ 3:23 left in the game. But the Utes answer with Brent Ratliff's 19-yard TD pass to Brent Casteel w/ just 1:19 remaining.

However, Beck and Cougars put together a 10-play, 75-yard drive in the final 1:19 with Beck completing his 4th TD pass, and 3rd to Harline as time expires. Beck finishes 28-of-43 for 375 yards with Harline catching 7 for 118 yards.

Ratliff leads Utah going 24-of-39 for 358 yards and 3 TDs. Safety Eric Weddle starts the Utes' 24-point run with an 18-yard TD pass to Casteel off a fake FG attempt.
