After John Bowie's 25-yard INT return for a score gives the Bearcats a quick 7-0 lead, Nick Davila hits Dominick Goodman with a pair of TD passes. Davila goes 19-of-35 for 214 yards and 2 TDs, with 2 INTs. Goodman catches 7 for 109 yards.

Western Michigan rallies, scoring 17 before halftime. Cornerback E.J. Biggers hits Jamarko Simmons with a 76-yard TD pass off a trick play, then Ryan Cubit hits Herb Martin for a 30-yard TD pass. The Broncos tie it on Brandon West's 7-yard TD run in the 4th quarter. Simmons has 13 catches for 172 yards.
