Game Notes

#13 Cardinals win big 59-28 over the Wildcats, but also lose big when Michael Bush breaks his leg and is lost for the season.

Bush runs for 128 yards and 3 TDs before suffering his injury in the 2nd half. Louisville's offense is still dominant, rolling up 631 yards and building a 31-8 margin in 1st downs. Brian Brohm goes 19-of-31 for 254 yards and 1 TD in his return from a knee injury that ended his 2005 season.

Louisville leaves no room for doubt. Bush has a pair of TD runs in the 1st quarter, Brohm hits Brock Bolen for a 1-yard TD in the 2nd quarter, and then Bush adds his 3rd TD as the Cardinals open a 31-0 lead.

Kentucky's lone bright spot is Keenan Burton, who scores on a 73-yard TD pass from Andre Woodson, and a 100-yard kickoff return.
