Playing at the alma mater of coach Randy Walker, who died during the off-season, Northwestern gets a lift from its special teams to spark a big 2nd half. With the score tied 0-0, Erryn Cobb blocks the punt after Miami (O.)'s 1st possession of the 2nd half, and then returns it for a score.

The Redskins hold Tyrell Sutton to 63 yards rushing, but Sutton does score on a 19-yard pass from Mike Kafka late in the 3rd quarter for a 14-3 lead, and then Terrell Jordan Jr. adds a 4th quarter TD with a 4-yard run.
