Wolfpack hold off the Wildcats for a 31-21 win, their first over a Big 10 team.

Robert Hubbard runs for 156 yards and 1 TD, while adding a 25-yard TD pass from Jeff Rowe that ties it 7-7 in the 1st quarter. Rowe's 26-yard TD to Mike McCoy in the 3rd quarter opens a 24-14 lead.

Northwestern cuts it to 24-21 when Mike Kafka runs for a 13-yard TD in the 4th quarter. However, Nevada ends the Wildcats' comeback attempt when Joe Garcia returns an INT 26 yards for a TD w/ 2:14 remaining. Garcia's INT is 1 of 5 turnovers by Northwestern, including 3 INTs by Kafka.
