#5 Longhorns erase a 21-point 1st quarter deficit, to beat the Red Raiders 35-31.

Texas Tech appears headed for one of its trademark upsets of Texas in Lubbock, as Fletcher Session intercepts Colt McCoy and returns it 19 yards for a TD w/ 1:04 left in the 1st quarter. It's 1 of 4 turnovers by the Longhorns.

However, McCoy and Texas rally big. McCoy tosses 3 TDs in the 2nd quarter as the Horns close the gap, however, Graham Harrell's 30-yard TD pass to Jarrett Hicks w/ :24 left in the 1st half gives Tech a 31-21 lead.

Texas cuts it to 31-28 on Selvin Young's 1-yard TD in the 3rd quarter, then McCoy hits Quan Crosby for a 28-yard TD early in the 4th quarter.

McCoy finishes 21-of-31 for 256 yards and 4 TDs with 1 INT. Harrell goes 42-of-62 for 519 yards and 3 TDs with 1 INT. Hicks catches 9 for 156 yards. But the difference is Texas also rushes for 217 yards, Tech runs for minus-1 yard.
