Golden Hurricane storms by the Miners for a 30-20 win.

UTEP leads 20-6 late in the 3rd quarter, before Tulsa stages a big rally. Paul Smith hits Donnie Johnson with a 4-yard TD pass to start the rally. Chris Chamberlain's 25-yard INT return for a score on the 1st play of the 4th quarter puts the Hurricane ahead 23-20.

Courtney Tennial's 1-yard TD run helps Tulsa pull away. Tennial finishes with 83 yards rushing. Meanwhile, the Miners' Jordan Palmer throws for 253 yards and 1 TD, but also suffers the key INT returned for the go-ahead score.
