Chippewas overcome late Broncos' rally to win in the end 34-31.

Dan Lefevour scores on a 1-yard QB sneak with :12 remaining after Western Michigan had erased a 27-17 deficit in the final 3 minutes. Lefevour's 2nd TD run gives Central Michigan the MAC Western Division title, and capped a wild 4th quarter that had 48 points scored.

After Mike Jones tied it 10-10 with a 33-yard FG for the Broncos at the start of the quarter, Lefevour ran for a 5-yard TD, and hit Antonio Brown with a 16-yard TD pass as part of a 17-7 run by the Chippewas that opened a 27-17 lead.

However, Western rallied, with Tim Hiller hitting Herb Martin for a 3-yard TD pass w/ 2:07 left in the game, and then Brandon West scored on a 15-yard run just 33 seconds later to give the Broncos the lead 31-27 before Lefevour rallied Central for the win.
