Sun Devils overcome a shaky start, then sprint by the Buffaloes for a 33-14 win.

Terrence Wheatley picks Rudy Carpenter and returns it 35 yards for the intial score, then Cody Hawkins hits Scotty McKnight with a 10-yard TD giving Colorado a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter.

However, Arizona State reverses things late in the 1st half. Carpenter hits Michael Jones for a 12-yard TD pass w/ 4:11 left in the 2nd quarter. Then Troy Nolan picks Hawkins on the next possession, returning it 26 yards for a TD pulling the Sun Devils within 14-13. Carpenter finds Kyle Williams for a 22-yard TD opening a 19-14 lead by half.

Carpenter adds a 3rd TD pass after Ryan Torain scores on a 7-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. Carpenter goes 19-of-37 for 269 yards.
