Temple wins its 3rd straight game for the 1st time since 1990, despite losing starting QB Adam DiMichele to injury in the 1st half. Backup Vaughn Charlton enters and throws for 109 yards and a key 61-yard TD pass to Bruce Francis for a 21-7 lead in the 3rd quarter.

Dan Raudabaugh throws for 314 yards and 2 TDs, but Miami (O.) doesn't cut into Temple's lead until scoring some cosmetic points late in the game.
