Missouri owns the field at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium from the start. Chase Daniel tosses a pair of 1st half TDs, and when Jimmy Jackson scores on a 1-yard run early in the 2nd half, the Tigers open a 21-0 lead. Daniel goes 40-of-49 for 361 yards and 3 TDs.

Down 28-7 at the start of the 4th, Kansas rallies, cutting it to 34-28 on Todd Reesing's 5-yard TD pass w/ 2:03 remaining. However, the Jayhawks' final hopes end when Lorenzo Williams sacks Reesing in the end zone for a safety w/ :12 left. Reesing goes 28-of-49 for 349 yards and 2 TDs, while running for another TD.
