Cardinal dominates the Spartans 37-0, earning Jim Harbaugh his 1st win as Stanford coach.

Toby Gerhart and Anthony Kimble lead the way as the Cardinal controls the ground, outgaining San Jose State 276-to-32 running the football. After Stanford builts a 9-0 halftime lead on 3 FGs by Derek Belch, Gerhart stretches the lead with a 13-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. Gerhart rushes for 140 yards, while Kimble adds 80 yards and a 4th quarter TD run.

T.C. Ostrander throws for 220 yards and a pair of 4th quarter TDs.
