West Virginia trails 13-6 at the half, but shreds the Marshall defense in the 2nd half. After halftime, Pat White throws for 1 TD, runs for another and Steve Slaton adds a pair of TD runs.

White's 23-yard TD pass to Darius Reynard ties it 13-13 early in the 3rd quarter. After Marshall regains the lead 16-13, White scores on a 20-yard run putting the Mountaineers ahead for good. Slaton extends the lead with a 2-yard TD run.

White throws for 149 yards and runs for 125 more. Slaton rushes for 146 yards.
