Game Notes

#21 Tigers overcome the #23 Wildcats in OT, 30-23.

Missouri wins it after missing the potential winning FG on the final play of regulation. After getting the ball first, Chase Daniel hits Jeremy Maclin with a 7-yard TD pass and then the defense stops Northwestern on downs. Daniel throws for 200 yards and 2 TDs, but also suffers 3 INTs in his final college game.

Maclin proves to be the big-play star for Missouri. Maclin's 75-yard punt return late in the 2nd quarter ties it 10-10. The Wildcats regain the lead with 2 TD passes by C.J. Bacher in the 3rd quarter, but Missouri ties it on Jeff Wolfert's 37-yard FG w/ 2:49 left in the game, before missing on a 44-yard attempt to win the game.
