Georgia Tech scores 26 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter, erasing a 28-12 deficit. Jonathan Dwyer's 60-yard TD run on the opening play of the 2nd half starts the rally. Roddy Jones' 8-yard TD run and Josh Nesbitt's 2-point conversion tie it 28-28 w/ 8:11 left in the 3rd quarter.

Dwyer adds a 23-yard TD run giving the Yellow Jackets the lead. Jones' 54-yard TD run in the 4th quarter helps Georgia Tech fight off Georgia's rally. Jones rushes for 214 yards on 13 carries, while Dwyer adds 144 yards. Matthew Stafford leads Georgia, throwing for 407 yards and 5 TDs, with Mohamed Massaquoi catching 11 passes for 180 yards and 3 TDs.
