Hawkeyes complete the collapse of the Gophers, administering a 55-0 embarrassment in Minnesota's final game at the Metrodome.

Only once in the Gophers suffered a bigger defeat at home than the one handed out by Iowa. Minnesota will move into an on-campus stadium for the 2009 season, but not until it dropped its 4th straight game after a 7-1 start.

The Hawkeyes post impressive numbers in victory. Iowa rolls up 483 total yards, while holding Minnesota to just 7 yards rushing. Ricky Stanzi throws for 255 yards and 3 TDs, with Derrell Johnson-Koulianos catching 7 passes for 181 yards and 1 TD. Shonn Greene rushes for 144 yards and 2 TDs, setting the Iowa record with 1,729 yards for the season.
