Minnesota forces 3 turnovers, returning one for a score, and sacking Juice Williams 5 times. Simoni Lawrence returns one fumble 9 yards for a TD, opening a 27-13 lead w/ 5:24 left in the game. The defense also provides a key 4th down stand at the goalline.

Williams does throw for 462 yards and 2 TDs, but spends much of the game in chase mode, both from Gopher defenders and trailing on the scoreboard. Adam Weber throws for 184 yards and a 25-yard TD pass to Eric Decker in the 1st quarter, and Deleon Eskridge rushes for 125 yards and 2 TDs, including a 46-yard TD run.
