Trailing 10-0, Aaron Kirchoff's 96-yard KO return on the final play of the 1st quarter sparks a run of 23 unanswered points by Air Force. Ryan Harrison ties it late in the 2nd quarter with a 30-yard FG, the first of his 3 FGs.

Tim Jefferson's 1-yard jump pass to Travis Dekker early in the 3rd quarter gives the Falcons the lead 17-10. The TD is the only completion by Air Force, which manages just 228 total yards, but does force 4 turnovers.
