#5 Trojans put on a show in a 38-24 win over the #8 Nittany Lions.

Mark Sanchez throws for 413 yards and 4 TDs, as USC breezes to a 38-14 lead en route to the win. Damian Williams hauls in 10 passes for 162 yards and 1 TD, while Ronald Johnson catches 4 passes for 82 yards with 2 ending in the end zone.

Sanchez hits Williams with a 27-yard TD pass in the 1st quarter, but Daryll Clark answers with a 9-yard TD run for Penn State. However, the 2nd quarter is all USC as the Trojans put 24 points on the board with Sanchez scoring on a 6-yard run, and then following a 30-yard FG by David Buehler with TD passes of 19 yards to Johnson and 20 yards to C.J. Gable.

Penn State attempts to get back in the game when Clark hits Derrick Williams with a 2-yard TD pass early in the 4th quarter, but Sanchez responds with a 45-yard TD strike to Johnson on the ensuing possession. Clark throws for 273 yards and 2 TDs, but also suffers 2 INTs.
