After Phillip Welch helps Wisconsin to a 19-0 lead in the 1st half with 4 FGs, the Wolverines score 27 straight in the 2nd half gaining the upper hand in a turnover-laden battle. Michigan turns it over 5 times, while the Badgers turn it over 4 times. John Thompson returns an INT 25 yards for the go-ahead score in the 4th quarter, 20-19.
