The Spartans take a 14-3 lead in the first half on a pair of TD runs by Lorenzo White. White finishes with 113 yards. Meanwhile, Michigan State's defense forces 5 turnovers, including 3 picks of Peete.

Peete throws for 249 yards and a pair of TDs to Ken Henry in the 2nd half that pull USC into the 17-17 tie.
