Bryant Daniels runs for 118 yards and 1 TD leading Long Island. Jason Cappadoro (Stony Brook) hits Joe Holden with a 6-yard TD pass, then Daniels adds a 2-yard TD run giving Long Island a 14-0 lead.

Ramon Guzman (Buffalo) scores on a 7-yard TD on the 1st play of the 2nd quarter, pulling NYC to within 14-6. Kevin Maxwell hits Harrison Tindall with a 36-yard pass to the 1, setting up a 1-yard TD run by Maxwell. Maxwell then hits Jason Anderwkavich for the 2-point conversion tying it 14-14.

Long Island breaks the tie when Jeff Dena (Rhode Island) picks off a pass and returns it 67 yards down the sideline for a TD in the 3rd quarter.
