Ohio State-bound Robby Schoenhoft hooks up with Michigan-bound WR Mario Manningham for a 74-yard TD on the game's 3rd play. Schoenhoft later connects with future Buckeyes' teammate Brian Hartline on a 29-yard TD pass. Schoenhoft is named the Ohio MVP after going 11-of-20 for 267 yards.

Ball State-bound QB Dante Love adds a TD pass and a TD run for Ohio. Cincinnati-bound DB Derrick Stewart returns an interception for a TD.
