Long Island All-Stars hang on for a 20-19 win over New York City.

New York City rallies for 2 TDs in the 4th quarter, with Andre Smith's 4-yard TD pulling NYC to within one w/ :31 left, only to have the PAT go wide right, the second miss of the game by the NYC all-stars.

Smith gave NYC a 6-0 lead to start with a 9-yard TD run. However, Long Island answers thanks to Jerry Edwards, the game MVP with 5 catches for 91 yards. Chris Eanuzel (Marist) hits Edwards for a 9-yard TD and a 7-6 lead. Then John Shaeffer (Marist) hits Edwards with a 37-yard pass setting up Jason Dent's 4-yard TD run. Eanuzel extends the lead to 20-6 with a 3-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter.

Defensive stars come up big. Long Island's John-Kevin Dolce (Virginia) forces a fumble and recovers it early in scoring position in the 3rd quarter. However, Parker Cantey (Syracuse) forces an INT on the very next play. New York City's John Ferrara (Michigan) makes the critical 4th down stop to give NYC its opportunity to rally late.
